Ward and Annemarie met during their studies in Leuven and are exploring the tail ends of the classical music repertoire. From Hildegard of Bingen and mediaeval estampies to their own improvisations and recent works by Martin Lohse, Matthew Shlomowitz, Tom Johnson and Alfredo Caponnetto, they mix the expected with the unexpected, as seen in their new programme 'Horizontal vs. vertical - An exploration of the linear in compositions from the mediaeval to the modern'.
