Musica Mundana was formed by Edinburgh-based duo Eric Thomas and Annemarie Klein who met during their undergraduate music degree at The University of Edinburgh, where they performed together on recorders and guitar.
They reconnected following their respective post-graduate performance degrees and formed the ensemble Musica Mundana, to focus on performing music from the sixteenth to the mid-eighteenth centuries, as well as relevant contemporary repertoire. Recent concerts featured programmes including music by Ruffo, Castello, Locke, Finger, Kapsberger, Purcell, De Rore and Dowland.
In their forthcoming programme they will be joined by the fabulous Héloïse Bernard to explore what happens when TIME STANDS STILL.
